Payments

We want paying for your coffee to be as smooth as making it. Here’s everything you need to know about how payments work on RoastWise, for both one-time orders and subscriptions.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods at checkout:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

Payment Security

Your payment details are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology, so your information stays protected from checkout to confirmation.

How One-Time Orders Are Charged

Your card is charged in full at the time of checkout for standard, one-time orders.

How Subscription Payments Work

For Subscribe & Save orders:

  • Your card is charged automatically at the start of each billing cycle (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on your chosen frequency)
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation ahead of each upcoming renewal
  • If a payment fails, we’ll notify you by email and attempt to process it again before your delivery is delayed

Updating Your Payment Method

To update the card on file for your subscription, go to My Account → Subscriptions → Payment Information. For security reasons, changing your payment details may require confirming via a link sent to your registered email address.

Currency

All prices on RoastWise are shown in GBP (£).

8. Discount Codes

Have a promo code? Enter it in the Discount Code box at checkout (below your order summary) and click Apply to see it reflected in your total before completing payment.

Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment doesn’t go through, please check that your card details, billing address, and available balance are correct, then try again. If the issue persists, contact your bank or try an alternative payment method.

For subscription renewal failures, see Section 6 above — we’ll retry automatically and keep you informed by email.
